KABIR BADDHI

My visit to Bharuch (Gujrat) India is really exciting and new experience with new people of my country. I have been invited by Narayan Vidhyalaya, Bharuch principal Dr. Bhagu Bhai Prajapati who was the co-recipient of International Gold Star Award at Bangkok (Thailand) on 28th May,2010. I am here to give talks and trainings on BRAIN POWER TECHNOLOGY to 991 students about 600 parents and 44 teachers. Students of +1and +2, 5th, 6th and 7th have been given the seminar.I am the Chief Guest and motivational trainer and speaker to address all these audience.

Yesterday, we swam in Narmada river. We were 4 people- me, Dr. Bhagu Bhai, Mr. Gariyar a retired principal (B.Sc.M.A, M.Ed) Narayan Vidhalaya, Bharuch and my son Ankush aged 17 student of +2 - boarded the boat and crossed the river Narmada. It was an experience par expression. The thrill and experience can only be felt not told in words. The waves of the river were coming from the ocean and the co-passengers were saying that the ocean is Arabian sea that is experiendcing tide. The waves going in opposite direction are due to this experience by the sea.

Having crossed the river Narmada, we reached Kabir Badh. The Badh (Banyan tree) was a huge tree. We were asked a question. Tell the original root of Badh or mother tree. We tried our best but could not find. All the roots and trees were appearing to be original. That question was very big to answser. Photographs, sitting on the branches and live logs, were taken. We enjoyed the swimming in the river Narmada. Narmada is said to be holy river and is known as the life line of Gujarat.

On the way back, we visited Neel Kantheshwar Mahadev Temple on the Narmada river, Ashram of Ma Anand Mai. Sardar Sarovar Narmada DAM that gives electricity to Gujarat is going to be visited by all of us. We are going to visit the dam in a vehicle. I was much interested to visit this dam. Why? In 1980 I appeared for IAS exam and at that time the dam was perhaps under constrction and we the students used to discuss a lot about this dam. Today the dream is going to be filled. I am posting this while enjoying the ride in the vehicle as we are going to see Narmada Dam. The dam is about 150 km from Bharuch. Bharuch is about 50 km away from Vadodara- one of the biggest cities of Gujarat.

Kidney Stone Remedy

This posting is based on the talk I just heard on TV program "Pehla Sukh Nirogi Kaya".
An Ayurvedic and Unani Hakim Tilak Raj who is having a hospital at Jalandhar was giving very useful tips for managing and getting the kidney stone cured without operation.

He suggested:
1. Get your stone diagnosed. Don't start any medicine without diagnosis.
2. For immediate relief (till you go to a doctor) from acute pain, pain killer was advised.
3. Foods to avoid: Tomato, Spinach
4. Take water and soda water in plenty so that urination may be caused. It will give relief.
5. Ayurved and Unani medicine can cure the kidney stone fully whatever be the size, he asserted.
6. Only light exercise useful. Hard exercise strictly forbidden.
These are just suggestions for your awareness. Consult your doctor if faced with this problem. No need to panic unnecessarily.

HAVE HEALTH, WEALTH AND HAPPINESS

Dear Friend,

He, who has health, has hope. And he, who has hope, has everything. Every human being is the author of his own health or disease. It is health that is real wealth and not pieces of gold and silver. Health is a state of complete physical, mental and emotional well-being, and not merely the absence of disease or infirmity. So, if a person is not healthy, then he or she will find it very difficult to enjoy life. A lot many people spoil their health for gaining wealth, and then have to spend their wealth to regain their health.

Good health is the consequence of good energy levels. Energy has three pre-dominant levels a) Physical b) Mental and c) Emotional. Physical energy can be gained by eating a balanced diet and exercising regularly. A balanced nutritious dies must contain carbohyderate, protien, fat, vitamins, mineral salts and fibre. It must contain these things in correct proportions. Next to the chart comes regular exercise. Proper exercise benefits every part of the body including the mind. Walking, deep-breathing and meditation are three very productive exercises for your well-being.

Mental energy comes from three significat sources a) Thinking b) Reasoning and c) Solving of Problems. You must develop honest and good thoughts. A good thinker is an asset to the society. And learn to take complete control of your thoughts and mental processes. To gain mental strength and vitality, cultivate the quality of reasoning well and with conviction. As long as there is life, there will be problems. The art lies in your approach to problems. Do not make hotchpotch of all the issues. Solve problems one by one at a time. Similarly make plansin such a way that you can execute them on a daily basis. Remember, to prioritise your time and do the most important things first.

The third type is emotional energy coming from enthusiasm, motivation and resilience. Emotional energy is the master of all energies. Emotions can be a useful and powerful tool to handle different situations in life. This energy depends on how much zeal, drive and toughness you have. Enthusiasm comes from optimism. Optimism is a magnet. It attracts people and prosperity to you. Positive thoughts are powerful constructive thoughts. They give energy to both mind and body. If we have positive thoughts it is sure that we will succeed. They make us more joyful and happy. Using them on all occasions will make us live a better life than ever and help us to build a better social, cultural and work relationship. All is Well is not just catch-phrase popularised by the movie 3 Idiots but a generator of positivism. These three magical words will not heal our sores or soothe our sorrows, but the essence within them will provide us the courage to do so.

The next component, motivation, results from our passion and commitment. Passion is an attitude and can be developed. Vhoose the career that is perfect for you, one that inspires you and leads you to perform better, work harder, live more happily. Such a career will make you passionate about your work. If you are passionate, you will inevitably be committed to your task at hand.
Motivation is a combination of will power, goals, ability to continue attaining the highest level of success.
Last but not least, you need to develop resilience. Resilience is the flexibility in response to changing situational demands, and the ability to bounce back from negative emotional experiences. Resilient individuals experience positive emotions even in the midst of stressful events, which explains their ability to rebound successfully despite diversity.
To wish you to be well is a part of becoming well. A man too busy to take care of his health is like a mechanic too busy to take care of his tools. Health is first muse, it gives us the required motivation and energy to work. In health, there is freedom. Health is the first of all liberties. It is the greatest possession a person can accumulate.
Helping you to gain healh, wealth and happiness.

The aim of education should be rather to teach us how to think, than what to think, rather to improve our minds, so as to enable us to think for ourselves, than to load the memory with thoughts of other men.

BE YOUR BEST SELF

Be your best self

by I.M.Soni
You have been troubled by infereiority feelings which are often based on memories or on remarks made by others.
Your feelings lead to self-concepts that are flagrantly wrong, but as long as you believe in them, you are inluenced by them.
Threrefore, it is important for you for to keep telling yourself that you are a much better individual than you are made to believe by envious people.
If you accept this as a fact, it will begin to influence your life because what you do with your self life depends on your own self-concept.
Your self-concept makes real things happen to you. You may say, "I can do this" and "I can't do that" simply because of remarks that other have made about you.
You underestimate your own abilities. Your inherent abilities are much greater than those you actually use. No one ever gives his best, is not a joke. Henry Ford once said, "Everyone can do more than he thinks he can."
No matter what your abilities are, they can be developed only if you choose to develop them. It is up to you.
According to Prescott Lecky, every human being strives to be a consistentent whole. He rejects what he thinks contradicts his self-image. Sometimes, he rejects traits that would be greatly to his advantage, because in a thoughtless moment, someone has told him that he was very dull.
If he accepts this, it becomes part of his mental picture of himself, and from that time he behaves accordingly.
A poor speller, for example, can be turned into a good one by changing his idea about his ability. When he changed his idea about his opinion of himself, a high school student, who previously misspelled 55 words out of 100 and had failed in most of his school subjects, became one of the best spellers in his school and got a general average of 90. He overcame his ,"disability" and became proficient.
Self-concept may be compared to building houses. If a man, in a fit of alcoholism, builds up an image of himself that has no basis in reality, he's building a mental house of straw.
A daydream that has no follow-up can be blown away as easility as a house of straw.
You can build your mental house out of sticks, and it can also be blown down. If you build your self-concept on casual remarks made others, you are building it out of sticks.
If you build your mental house out of bricks, who can knowck it down? Bricks that build your self-concept show what you can do and achieve.
If you have personal experience in succeeding at something, small or big, you can build a house of your self-esteem on what you have done. Forget the failures you have met with.
Build your life and career on what you have already done successfully. Success breeds success.
Nietzche says, "Become what thou art!" He knew that if we only became as great as we really are we would be better than we dream.
You have potentialities that you have never realised. The first step in changing your life is to believe that you can change. Here are some suggestions.
Accept yourself. In a study of group of college students, it was found that those who were mentally healthiest accepted themselves with all their faults as naturally.
Dont tear yourself apart because you do not think you are worthy.
You should try to be at your best.
Believe in yourself. You have some talent. If you do not know what your talent is, that does not mean that you do not possess one.
Keep seeking till you find what your talent is.
Think of how to make yourself better.
If you spend too much time wondering whether or not you are good, you won't be.
Keep your hands and your mind occupied.A man is nothing if not a worker.
Keep recreational activities in your life.
Always have an activity that will be fun for the sake of it.
Make others comfortable and at ease.
When you meet someone for the first time, concentrate on trying to make him feel at ease.
That will keep you from feeling self-conscious.
If you cocentrate on the other person, you are not self-centred.
Do something about your negatives. If you have some worries you cannot do anything, try to be fair about them. Look for their good points.
Believe in some power higher and greater than yourself.
Bury the past. Yesterday was a dream, tomorrow may never come. Use this fragment of time, as though it were your last day.
Work for your future. The beauty of the future is that it comes one day. And anybody can handle one day positively and creatively.

DADDY AT DIFFERENT AGES

A must read for every kid.
AT 4 YEARS
My daddy is great.
AT 6 YEARS
My daddy knows everybody.
AT 10 YEARS
My daddy is good but short tempered.
AT 12 YEARS
My daddy was very nice when I was young.
AT 14 YEARS
My daddy is getting fastidious.
AT 16 YEARS
My daddy is not in line with the current times.
AT 18 YEARS
My daddy is becoming increasingly cranky.
AT 20 YEARS
Oh! It's becoming difficult to tolerate daddy.
Wonder how mother puts up with him.
AT 25 YEARS
Daddy is objecting to everything.
AT 30 YEARS
It is becoming difficult to manage my son.
I was so scared of my father when I was young.
AT 40 YEARS
Daddy brought me up with so much discipline.
Even I should do the same.
AT 45 YEARS
I am baffled how my daddy brought us up.
AT 50 YEARS
My daddy faced so many hardships to bring us up.
I am unable to manage a single son.
AT 55 YEARS
My daddy was far sighted and planned so many things for us. He is one of his kind and unique.
AT 60 YEARS
My daddy is great.
THUS, it took 56 years to complete the cycle and come back to the first stage.
WHEN GOD SOLVES YOUR PROBLEMS,
YOU HAVE FAITH IN HIS ABILITIES,
WHEN HE DOES NOT SOLVE YOUR PROBLEMS,
HE HAS FAITH IN YOUR ABILITIES.

FIGHT OR FLIGHT

The person who has never failed in life is the person who has never attempted any act in life.

Amitabh Bachchan - the great legend of Indian Cinema when went to face the interview by an advertisement agency faced this fact. The interviewer retorted, "Your voice resembles with beast of burden. You can never be success in life." Amitabh Bachchan spoke nothing but determined internally "I will become a great actor and my voice will be my strength." Rest is the reality you all know.

Had Amitabh Bachchan bogged down at that time, he would have gone to seclusion and nobo0dy would have bothered about him. But he rose and fought and won the battle of failure in a befitting manner.

Whenever anyone faces failure in exam, competition, career or life first thought comes to mind is quitting. A person never fails until he/she quits. Brave rise and fight and win laurels for themselves and for their family and friends, nears and dears. Scociety salutes them. Success salutes them.

There is nothing between success and failure except right and adequate effort.

Passing an exam needs studying hard. One hour study should be spread like:

-20 minutes reading

-20 minutes closing eyes reflecting upon what has been read.

-20 minutes - writing for knowing what has been read is right and worh or not.

Generally, we tell to others more than doing. George Bernard Shaw - the great writer- says, " When we tell about our plans to others, they comment, criticise and complement. But when we achieve our goals, they appreciate and believe." So, don't tell others until you achieve.

Commonly diagnosed reasons for failure in exams are:

- Wrong daily routine

-Not attending the class for one reason or another.

- Excessive socialisation

- Excessive friendship and wasting of time in activities other than studies.

Improving upon these habits forces success to salute the aspirant.

Wishing you a grand success - Prof P.K.Keshap

GENERAL RESPONSIBILITY

You cannot hope to build a better world without improving the individual. To that end, each of us must work for his/her own improvement and, at the same time, share a general responsibility for all humanity.

Reade E-Book by Prof P.K.Keshap www.mypersonalitydevelopment.com

Character And Desity

Floyd Patterson, the worlds's heavyweight champion once said that he must change his mental attitude and work hard . And he did work hard hard, developed inspiration to action, know-how, and activity knowledge. He once again regained the world's heavy weight champion crown. At that time his future was ahead of him.
Now, is your future ahead of you or behind you? The answer for this question depends on your success in eliminating any existing unseen walls such as negative habits and undesirable thoughts and actions = and strengthen and build positive thoughts and deeds. For character is the Key stone to success. The essence of perfection is never reached, but you gain character by trying to reach it. Good luck or bad luck, success or failure - which will it be for you?
The choice is yours. You hold the tiller. You can steer the course you choose in the direction of where you want to be - today, tomorrow, or in distant time yet to come.
Now is the time to find where you are. And now is the time to check your habits of thought and action, for these have brought you to where you are now. Are you on the right course to get from where you are now to where you really want to be? regardless of what you are or what you have been, you can still become what you may want to be. As a ship captain does, you will have to steer the course of your voyage. Remember, many a ship that lost its rudeder and many a person who lost character have become derelicts, lost to the world. This can happen at almost any point in a voyage at sea or in life.
For Character is the one common denominator of all perssonal qualities that will insure a truly successful future.
In order to develop good character, you've to win over yourself. The development of good character is battle that you, I and everyone must fight for himself. The battle is from within, but we can get help from wtihout from good persons and good books that motivate the reader to try to become a better person. But whatever may be the source of help it all depends on what you learn and put into your life. You have the power to affect, use, control or harmonize with all of them.
And you can direct your thoughts, control your emotions and ordain your destiny. Whoever can stop you from doing it?

COMMONWEALTH GAMES

EMOTIONAL APPEAL
Like any proud citizen, I am filled with pride that our great country is hosting the Commonwealth Games, 2010 which are symbolic of our national honour.
India is a country of immensely constructive, progressive & cultured people with a rich heritage and our recent economic growth has drawn worldwide admiration. As such, the whole world today looks upon us with respect and hope.
The recent continuous and negative media coverage of Delhi Commonwealth Games, 2010 has resulted in absolute negativity among our people and the whold world talking adversely about our country.
Due to this continous and extensively negative coverage, we are creating a withdrawal feeling in thousands of organizers, 23000 volunteers, who are feeling totally demoralized and dejected. This would totally mar the successful conduct of the Commonwealth Games and give a bad image to our beloved country for all times to come. Participating players, officials and even the guests will have a very negative feeling, right from the beginning. The smallest of flaws will be magnified in their minds and they will go back with quite a weak forthcoming Commonwealth Games at such time when they should all be participating in, contributing to and celebrating it as the Grand Festival of India.
I do not know at all as to who are cultprits, how many people have misappropriated the country's funds/resources and pushed back the preparations with regard to the completion of infrastructure, as the reports say. If so, the culprits most definitely need to be punished with all their misdeeds thoroughly investigated and all sorts of checks and audits duly conducted by going deep into the matters related to purchase, negotiations & payments etc. But if should all be done after our country's greatest ever sporting event is over. Of course, all the culprits should be serverly punished, thereafter.
I am asking in all humility and cordialiality whther for the wrongs of may be a hundred people, should the hopes and aspirations of 1.2 billion people be crushed? It would be such a huge blot on our country's image if we do not conduct the Games successfully.
I myself am running a media network thoughout the country and I appreciate that Media has done its duty to expose Organisers' misdeed but at the same time with all humility, we must accept that Media ha alread overdone it, causing a very big damage in maligning the image of our country. Certainly the media on its part should not forgive culprits but should postpone its campaign until after the successful staging of Commonwealth Games. The immediate need is to create an exceedingly positive environment for the present organisers and genuine workers to make the Games a grand success befitting the great image of our nation.
I threfore appeal to anybody and everybody to rise as one united nation maintaining absolute positivity and dedicate themselves whole-heartedly to the cause of the Delhi Commonwealth Games, 2010 for the pride of our beloved country. We stuill have almost 2 months to go and can work wonders if we rise together collectively on war footing and contribute in all possible ways so that we may hold our heads high before the entire world.
Yours always
A Humble Citizen,

GODMAN

If an 'O' of Ego is removed from Goodman, it will become a Godman. Ego is fed right from childhood when a small child is appreciated if it wins a game or race or gets more marks in the class. Not only this, even the words, "My child is smarter than that of yours. My child is more handsome or beautiful than that of yours. My child is healthier than that of yours." All these kind of remarks from parents, grandparents and others fan the ego of the child.
When the child grows and goes to school, these remarks take another shape. "My child has scored more marks than that of yours. This child has topped the class by scoring high marks."
This kind of comparison builds the psychological foundation of the child to be better in the society. The child also learns how to feel different from others in the society? This may be called the child is learning "how to discriminate." Blood and flesh is same but there are so many other traits on the basis of which a child learns to differentiate with others in the society. White skin is better than black, my culture and country is better than that of yours, I am stronger than you, I am more intelligent than others are some of the mental developments. This attitude builds ego which in turn teaches the human beings to disdain others one count or the other.
The child less learns about himself which the mother Nature has given to him. It more learns about the artificial living. That's how to accumulate more wealth in this world, how to keep the knowledge upto himself and exploit others. Vanity prevails upon the child and it leads to distancing itself from the real happiness.
Real happiness is not in accumulation of wealth but its use for our brothers and sisters in this world. Real happiness comes from retaining and nourishing relationships howsoever small or insignificant they appear in terms of money and wealth. Real happiness comes from enjoying a good health which comes from treating others alike and sharing their woes and worries. No body cares how much you know until he knows how much you care.
It is the caring of the needy that brings the real happiness. So, stop fanning ego and enjoy real happiness. Shedding ego, we become 90% lighter mentally and start enjoying the journey of our life. Enjoy the light of the lamp without any regard to the lamp. Lamp can be made of clay, mud, silver, gold or diamond but light is same. It does not change. Be BIG and shed ego.
