A HEART IN FULL BLOOM



Some people are so sadly mistaken.
They don't see a heart
that is breaking
as one that's alive, one fully waken!
 
There is nothing alive in a heart that is closed;
Life only exists in one completely exposed.
And even in sorrow and even in pain
a hearts capacity to love shall never thee wane.


For a broken heart has even more room,
It's petals are spread; it's a rose in full bloom!
 
You see that's what makes a heart real.
It has weeped, it has bled; it has learned how to feel.
