GUEST

He who comes to you at the cost of his time

Respect his wishes without reason or rhyme.

PRAYER

Your prayers  are never lost.

They are always answered.

It is a question of time as when you realize it.

“Never was a faithful prayer lost.

Some prayers have a longer voyage than others,

But then they return with their richer lading at last.

So, that the praying soul is a gainer by  for an answer.”

EXPERIENCE

‘However learned or eloquent,

man knows nothing truly what he had not learned

from experience.”

LOVE

Hatred paralyses life, love releases it.

Hatred confuses life, love harmonises it.

Hatred darkens life, love illuminates it.

If the ego rises, all else will also rise,

If it subsides, all else will also subside.

PARDON

Pardon all men, but not yourself.

Pardon is the most glorious revenge.

WORLD IS A STAGE

All the world’s a stage and all the men and women merely players.

They have their exit and their entrances.

And one man in his life plays many parts,

His act being seven stages.

No garments can conceal character. The man comes out sooner or later.

Source:
I have forgotten the source. Perhaps Shakespeare’s All The World is a Stage.

I write in a diary on some note books and have posted  here having copied from there.

TRUST

Trust men, they will be true to you;

Treat them greatly, and they will show themselves great.

Paradise lies in the shadow of sword

BEST TEACHER

Experience is the best teacher.

It is the extract of suffering.

“It is one of the said conditions of life

that experience is not transmissible,

no man will learn from the suffering of another.

He must suffer himself.”

TRUE MAN

He is truly a man, who has made money his slave.

He is not fit to called a man who does not know how to make use of money.

“Man lives to add more and yet more to his wisdom

and

not to multiply his material possessions beyond proportion.

Things, material cannot be made more use of than the requirement.”

FINDING TRUTH

All that glitters

 is

 not gold.

SANSKAR

Sanskar is an

outward physical sign

of the inward spiritual grace.

WORLD

The world is a

 moral and spiritual

 gymnasium.

EDUCATION

.

It is no use giving children just education, you should give them joy.

“If you want children to grow well, try and give them as much joy as possible.

Merely giving them so-called education, is like putting manure at the roots of a tree which is without sunlight. ‘

The sun is strong, the rain is plentiful and in spite of the goats, the forests grow,

Likewise, in spite of errors of parents and teachers, children flourish.”

WIFE

Wives are young men’s mistresses,

Companions for middle age and

Old man’s nurses. Hold them, respect them.

CHARACTER

What adds to the charm of one’s character?

Small kindness,

small courtesies,

small considerations,

habitually practiced in our interaction,

give a greater charm to the character

than the display of great talents

and accomplishments.

PATIENCE

Sweet are the fruits

of patience.

TOUGH TIME

Can anybody remember

when the times were not hard

and money not scarce?

ROSES

Roses have thorns, and

a silver fountain has mud.

GOOD SUPERVISION

Good supervision

is the art of getting

average people

 to do superior work.

SECRET OF GREAT WORK

Great works

are performed

not by strength

but by perseverance.

GREAT IDEAS

Great ideas often receive violent opposition

from mediocre minds

-  Albert Einstein.

S

EXPERT ADVICE

A good businessman

never neglects

to take expert advice.

SILENCE

Silence is nearly always golden,

but sometimes it is guilt.

CONTROL YOUR MIND

You should not allow mind to

wander about

as it would become astray.

UNLIMITED PATIENCE

Few, save the poor, feel for the poor.

Keep strong, if possible. In any case, keep cool.

Have unlimited patience.

Never corner an opponent,

and always assist him to save his face.

ANGER AND INTOLERANCE

Anger and intolerance are

the twin enemies of correct thinking.
