When love leaves its mark on you
it carries you through some incredibly
difficult times.

The love that has been given to you
becomes an indelible part of you,
so much so that it remain long after
the one who has given it to you is gone.

It is a never-ending gift.

Not only you yourself will benefit. 
Others after you will absorb the love
in you that was given to you by somebody else.

You see it's a gift that keeps passing on and gets
stronger through each passage of time.

It never wanes as long as you keep supporting it.

I always remember this after a loved one's passing,
that love is ever-lasting.

ARE YOU THERE

I've been trying to get you to see me.
Not coming in too clear.
Wanting you to retrieve me
if you dare.
Waiting for you to receieve me.
But you're not aware.
The lonely girl sitting next to you is me.
Are you there?

I might as well be faceless.
Your eyes, a blank stare.
Maybe I'm a bit graceless.
I don't well fare.
All my thoughts, are they baseless?
I'm the lonely girl sitting in an empty chair.
Can't feel this body, must be weightless.
Are you there?

My lips are moving.
Words are streamers floating in the air.
Maybe you're not approving
what I'm trying to share.
I feel like I should be removing
this lonely body off the chair.
Nothings ever improving.
Are you there?

 

HESITATING LOVE

Pacing like an animal
in a restricted cage,
trying to control
what has already been inflamed.

Somewhere deep inside you still
is a burning rage.
Bothered by the notion
that someone here is to blame.
You carry all the shame, all of the shame.

So afraid you're hesitating love.
Never are you certain
what exactly its made of.
Turning away from
what it stirred up inside.
Something got awaken
that you thought already died, already died.

Still you had the courage
to take the chance.
You're haunted by a memory
that has put you in this circumstance.
Any slight reverberation
and you're ready to pounce.
Holding to fury, don't give an ounce,

don't give an ounce.

So afraid you're hesitating love.
Never are you certain
what exactly its made of.
Turning away from
what it stirred up inside.
Something got awaken
that you thought already died, already died.

SHACKLES OF MIND

Neither ahead, nor behind;

All shackles,

I have created in mind.

Like a clean slate,

Never I meet a mate,

 

Anger , anguish

Jealousy and hate

Prejudice and pride
Are in  my mind.

please be aware of
the love.

the love.

There must be some understanding. Where do I ever find the truth? Maybe you just see me as demanding. And maybe I only see you as uncouth. I don't always know how to please you. I don't always know what to say. It seems no matter what I do I always get in your way. It's hard to always know the right thing. The situation we gots a bit strange. I hope I'm not just a passing fling. I hope that soon something will change. I don't always know how to please you. I don't always know what to say. It seems no matter what I do I always get in your way. You never tell me that you love me. I never know just where I stand. LOVE WEATHERS ALL STORMS!

Love weathers all storms.
It comes to you
in many forms.

Not always a warm
caressing, gentle breeze.
In fact it can be
an agonizing tease!

Awakens you like
rolling thunder in the night.
Props you up,
through blinded sight.

Torrid is the burning sun,
peeling away the layers
of your skin
as morning creeps in like a nun.

Exposing you like the bitter cold.
How it has you in its hold!

Tear streaming icicles
upon your face.
Frozen are you in its embrace.

Caught in the middle
of the eye.
It's a rage of destruction
as it passes by.

Whipping, whirling, upheaving,
bless be thou; it's never leaving!
But how I give a mighty hearty laugh,
because I so do love
to bask in its aftermath!
