The MOTIVATION #8

The meaning of man’s life
Matches the marvels of
Man’s labor.

The value of work and its contribution to achievement
Has long been recognized by philosophers, teachers,
Poets, writers, and business people; they all have endorsed,
“Nothing does as much good for a man,
As a hard day’s work.”

Henry Ford II said;
“The first specific qualification for success
In my view is a strong work ethic.”

Paul J.Meyer says:
“Work is PURE JOY!
…work refines character,
….Work weeds-out the garden of the mind,
…..Work overcomes adversity and defeat.
…..Work is the breath of life.
…..Work is the reward for being alive.”

The reality remains
Work is life, and good work is good life.

Hence,
Learn to enjoy your work; work long and hard,
And give your job extra burst and energy,
If you do it that way; you’ll stand a
Much better chance of reaching your goal.

The MOTIVATIONS #7

You will not do
Incredible things
Without
An incredible dream.

Dreams are untapped possibilities
within us waiting to be born.

They are the beauty of the human mind,
To do anything that we want to do.
They are the strength of the human will,
To trust our-self to test out limits,
They are the courage to succeed,
They are the material out of which
We can build our future.

If you want to live a life of greatness,
Don’t let of your dreams or think of them as too outlandish,
Or merely as fantasies; instead honor them; as messages
From the deepest past of your being. Spend some quality
Time with them. They are real to the extent that you value them,
Commit to them, learn the skills you lack and act upon them.

Always remind yourself
“Life rewards those who aren’t afraid to step out in the
directions of their dreams.”

So, be that person today and everyday from now on,
Who claims the dream he has for himself, and believes himself
Of being capable of achieving whatever
He want in his life.

The MOTIVATION #6

Positive anything is better
Than negative nothing

Positive thinking is an amazing tool which can enable
Anyone to achieve a more fulfilling and successful life.
Through harnessing the power of positive thinking
Your mind is tuned in to expect success.
And virtually, it will make you feel sure of it so that
You know deep down you WILL succeed
In whatever you are doing. In fact, all human wisdom
Is summed up in two words – wait and hope.

A POSITIVE ATTITUDE IS THE FIRST PRINCIPLE,
BY WHICH YOU MAY BENEFIT BY THE MAGIC POWER OF BELIEVING
.

Thomas A.Edison BELIEVED that he could perfect the incandescent
Electric lamp despite the fact, that he failed more than
Ten thousand times before, he made his belief come true.

Marconi BELIEVED that the ether could be made to carry the vibrations of sound without the use of wires and he carried on through many failures until he was rewarded by victory.

Columbus BELIEVED that he would find land in an uncharted ocean and he sailed on and on, despite the threatened mutiny of his sailors, until he found land.

Henry Ford BELIEVED that he could build a horseless buggy that would provide low cost rapid transportation, and, despite the skepticism of many people;

Positive thinkers are the forerunners of civilization, the builders of industries, the creators of Empires, the revealers of the bountiful benefits made available to us by the Creator (God) of all things.

The MOTIVATIONS #5

It is the nature of man
To rise to greatness
If greatness is expected of him

When you expect greatness from someone,
You set that stage for them to be great,
You stretch their thinking,
You help them raise the bar on
What they see as possible for themselves,
You force them to realize that playing small is not acceptable,
And they usually rise to the occasion,

George S.Patton said,
Don’t tell people how to do things; tell them what to do
And let them surprise you with the results.

Start to EXPECT

- Share your thinking with your team,
BE SPECIFIC
What would greatness look like from your team?

The MOTIVATION #4

No one is so good
That he has no bad in him, and
No one is so bad that
He has no good in him

We human beings are a complex lot,
Many religious writings and great literary works are based upon
The constant struggle between good and evil
That goes on inside every one of us.
This struggle is as old as mankind itself.
Yet, while we recognize our own inner struggles,
We are often quick to condemn others.

Psychologists tell us that
There is no such thing as bad person;
There are only bad behaviours.
Make it a point to look for the good in yourself and in others.
Nurture the good character trait and work on the ones
That may need improvement.

Like plants in a garden, the character traits that grows
Strong and productive will be those that are fed,
Watered, and weeded regularly.

The MOTIVATION #3

Our business in life
Is not to succeed
But to continue to fail
In good spirits.

It is a psychological fact, that
we cherish most what have worked hardest to gain.
Still, the trials, disappointments and defeats
Are inevitable part; even of the most victorious lives,
We are human beings; we are limited,
You have limits, I have limits,
We are fallible. That’s reality.
But, there is a big difference
Between failing and being a failure.
One is a learning, and an opportunity to grow.
The other is an end point.

Failing is not a disgrace if you have sincerely done your best,
Don’t let not achieving your desired outcome derail you,
Endure every trial in the right spirit, consider it,
As you’ve found a way that doesn’t work,
When a man bears with composure
One heavy mischance after another, the soul shines out
Not because he does not feel them, but because
He is a man of high and heroic temper.

The MOTIVATION #2

The mind grows only
Through use,
And it atrophies*
Through idleness.

Just as the physical body becomes strong
Through regular exercise,
So does the mind require regular use
To remain strong.

Make sure that your personal development plan
Includes plenty of mental stimulation,
One of the best ways to develop your imagination
And visualization skills is through reading.
As you read, your mind translates the words into images
That help you better understand the concepts
About which you are reading.

Be a voracious reader,
Read newspapers, trade magazines,
Self-help books, and novels,
All will contribute to your store of knowledge,
And to your ability to visualize
And more effectively use your imagination.

The MOTIVATION #1

To be a great person,
Walk hand-in-hand and side-by-side
With people who are great.

It is said
“You are the average of the five people
You spend the most time with.”
Take a few minutes, check and really think about the five people;
Who are you spending your time with? And make a list,
From one to five and write them down.

Name of Person #1_____________________________
Name of Person #2_____________________________
Name of Person #3_____________________________
Name of Person #4_____________________________
Name of Person #5_____________________________

OK, Now, next to each person make an arrow,
UP IF THEY inspire you and make you a better person,
DOWN if they bring you down.

This exercise is frighteningly simple.
We all want to be with people who bring us up. Not down.

The question for you is:

Do you need to alter your Top Five?
If yes, then choose wisely, don’t fool around with those
who have messed-up their lives; instead spend time with positive,
ambitious people who have plans for their lives.
