Wanting objects breeds attachment

From attachment arises covetousness,

Covetousness leads to anger

Anger destroys memory

And choice is rendered.

And  man dooms.

ATTACHMENT


Do not be very much attached to worldly possessions

because they are temporary in nature, besides not belonging to you.

“Seemingly own worldly things; but have an attachment to them.

As the maid-servant can with ease relinquish here

THE assumed ownership of master’s property,

Be prepared for separation from earthly possessions.”
