3) ਅੰਤਰਰਾਸ਼ਟਰੀ ਭਾਸ਼ਾ = ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ

Asian Development Bank ਦੀ ਰਿਪੋਰਟ ਦੇ ਮੁਤਾਬਕ ਜੋ ਭੀ ਕੋਈ ਚੰਗੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੋਲ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ , ਉਹ ਦੂਜਿਆਂ ਕੋਲੋਂ 4-5 ਗੁਨਾ ਜਿਆਦਾ ਕਮਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਅਤੇ ਸਮਾਜ ਵਿਚ ਉਸਦਾ ਰੁਤਬਾ ਭੀ ਬੱਧ ਹੁੰਦਾ ਹੈ। ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਅਤੇ ਲਿਖਣਾ ਇਕ ਕਲਾ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਬਲਕਿ ਅਜ ਦੇ ਯੁਗ ਦੀ ਸਭਤੋਂ ਬੜੀ Life Skill ਹੈ।

ਪੰਜਾਬ ਦੇ ਵਿਚ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਦੇ ਹਾਲਾਤ :

1. ਇਕ ਅਖਬਾਰ ਨੇ ਲਿਖਿਆ ਇੱਕਲੇ ਲੁਧਿਆਣਾ ਜਿਲੇ ਵਿਚ ਹੀ ਪੰਜਾਬੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੇ 8645 ਬੱਚੇ ਫੇਲ ਹੋਏ ਹਨ ।

2. ਦੂਜੇ ਤਰਫ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਸਕੂਲਾਂ ਦੀ ਪੜੋ।

ਇਕ ਬਾਪ ਬੜਾ ਖੁਸ਼ ਸੀ ਕਿ ਮੇਰਾ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਬੜੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੋਲ ਲੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਟ੍ਰੇਨਰ ਨੂੰ ਖੁਸ਼ ਹੋ ਕਿ ਕਿਹਾ : ਮੇਰਾ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਬੜੀ ਸੋਹਣੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੋਲਦਾ ਹੈ।

ਟ੍ਰੇਨਰ ਨੇ ਕਿਹਾ : ਕਿਸੇ ਦਿਨ ਲਿਆ ਕੇ ਮਿਲਾ ਦੇਣਾ।

3)ਖੁਸ਼ੀ ਨਾਲ ਇਕ ਦਿਨ ਉਸ ਨੂੰ ਲੈ ਆਯਾ ਤੇ ਟ੍ਰੇਨਰ ਨੇ ਪੁੱਛਿਆ :

Q: What are you doing?

Ans. I have given the exam of +2.

Trainer said:

My dear son, a student takes the exam and teacher gives the exam.

This is wrong sentence.

So, right sentence is : I have taken the exam of +2.

4) ਉਸ ਤੋਂ ਬਾਅਦ ਮੁੰਡਾ ਤਾਂ ਬੋਲਿਆ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ। ਬਾਪ ਨੇ ਇਕ ਦੋ ਗੱਲਾਂ ਕੀਤੀਆਂ ਤੇ ਉੱਠ ਕੇ ਬਾਹਰ ਚਲਾ ਗਯਾ।

ਕਹਿਣ ਲਗਾ ਤੂੰ ਮੇਰੇ ਪ੍ਰੋਫੈਸਰ ਕੋਲ ਬੇਇਜਤੀ ਕਰਵਾ ਦਿਤੀ ਹੈ।

ਮੁੰਡਾ ਚੁੱਪ ਚਾਪ ਸੁਣਦਾ ਰਿਹਾ।

5) ਇਸੇ ਤਰ੍ਹਾਂ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੇ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੋਲਦੇ ਹਨ ਪਰ ਬਹੁਤ ਸਾਰੀ ਗਲਤ। ਇਸ ਲਈ ਉਹ ਲਿਖਦੇ ਨਹੀਂ। ਲਿਖਣ ਨਾਲ ਗ਼ਲਤੀਆਂ ਪਕੜੀਆਂ ਜਾਂਦੀਆਂ ਹਨ। ਗ਼ਲਤੀਆਂ ਕਰੋ ਉਹਨਾਂ ਤੋਂ ਘਬਰਾਓ ਨ। ਬਾਰ ਕਰੋ। ਪਰ ਇਕ ਗਲਤੀ ਤੀਸਰੀ ਬਾਰ ਨਾ ਕਰੋ। ਹਰ ਬਾਰ ਨਵੀਂ ਗ਼ਲਤੀ ਕਰੋ ਤੇ ਸੁਧਾਰੋ। ਜੋ ਗ਼ਲਤੀਆਂ ਨਹੀਂ ਕਰਦੇ ਉਹ ਜੀਵਨ ਵਿਚ ਕੁਝ ਸਿੱਖ ਹੀ ਨਹੀਂ ਸਕਦੇ। ਕਈ ਗ਼ਲਤੀਆਂ ਕਾਰਨ ਤੋਂ ਡਰਦੇ ਹੀ ਬੜੇ ਹਨ। ਜੋ ਭੀ ਇਨਸਾਨ CYCLE , SCOOTER , CAR ਚਲਾ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ ਉਹ ਸਾਡੇ ਕੋਰਸ ਕਰ ਸਕਦਾ ਹੈ। ਉਹਨਾਂ ਨੂੰ ਚਲਾਨ ਲਈ ਭੀ ਸਿੱਖਣਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ ਗਿਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਤਾਂ ਹੀ ਮਾਹਰਿਯਾਤ ਆਈਉਂਦੀ ਹੈ। ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੋਲਣ ਲਈ ਭੀ ਇਹੋ ਕਰਨਾ ਪੈਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਬਾਰ ਬਾਰ ਕੋਸ਼ਿਸ਼ ਅਤੇ ਦਮ ਰੱਖ ਕੇ ਪੜਨਾ। ਫਿਰ ਅੰਗਰੇਜ਼ੀ ਬੋਲਣਾ ਲਿਖਣਾ ਆ ਜਾਂਦਾ ਹੈ। ਡਰਨ ਨਾਲ ਕੁਝ ਨਹੀਂ ਆਂਦਾ।

AYURVEDA - The basic principles

 1. The biorhythm among humans and animals  is transferred from grandfather to father and father to son.

Biorhythm has mainly 3 components:

• Intellectual Level:
• Physical Level and 
• Emotional level

2. These levels keep on changing  from day to day or hour by hour and create lot of imbalances in the body and mind. The movement of the various planets in the solar system impacts the body i.e. low and high moods are caused due to these movements. They are similar as the waves in the ocean go up and down many times during the day.

3. Mind is the master to cause  change in moods.

4. Brain( gross form of the mind) is the engine of the train called body.

5, Ayurveda has based itself on the doshas i.e Vaat, Pit and Cough that carry the functions of the body of an individual. Excess or deficit of any dosha causes imbalance in body and personality. Happiness, anger, low moods etc. are generally have the roots in imbalance of these doshas.

6. Individuals can master these doshas and manage them to create balance in Mind, Body and Spirit.

7. Ayurveda works more on "prevention is better than cure" principle.

9. Right sleep, right eating, right thinking, right behaiour along with "We attitude" are generally the benefits of Ayurveda.

10. Holistic approach of health and life is the guiding principle of Ayurveda.

Learn something everyday.

1. Researches show that if a person reads something fresh and positive for 6 minutes everyday , the person overcomes 68% of her/his STRESS - the silent killer.

2. Reading and writing whatever you feel and it will relieve your choked mind of old rotten past feelings that keep on burdening your mind all the time and you will feel light mentally.

3. An administrator wrote a book by working in an organisation for about 25 years.

4. Her colleague asked:                     How will it benefit you in terms of money?

5. The quick reply came:

I damn care for the benefits in terms of money. I have enough money to live and survive for 30 more years. But writing the book has lightened my mind that was pre-occupied with old bad troubling memories right from my birth.

Now I feel afresh and real.

 Earlier I was in the state of MIND FULLNESS  and now I feel my  MINDFULness (real awareness) has gone up. Contemplation and day dreaming is reduced and reality is visible.    

 I am more real now.

 People around me say " I am becoming more practical."

So, I have got so many emotional benefits by writing a book. Why should I expect monetary benefits?

The colleague left the scene dumb and convinced.

Sit alone and see what is running in mind.
If this is not beneficial for you and concerned to your or your kith and kin's life,
immediately close your eyes and take a breath. Now exhale (breathe out) counting from 10 to 1. Brain needs oxygen. Lesser the oxygen, more the chances of brain stroke.

Just change the habit. Take more deep breath, drink more water and you will feel relaxed.
Avoid thinking what is not essential for your life.

Take life as it comes as the CREATOR knows better, what is best for you.

GST in India

Goods and Services Act  will unleash a tax regime that will make India One nation, one tax, one market.

But everyday, I read in newspapers, many business associations, many traders associations are protesting on one issue or another relating to this new tax regime, GST is going to be implemented in India on July 1, 2017.

Most of the mental panic translated  into protests and  complaints by business community relates teso impact of GST on business. To clear this myth and mental mist, I am explaining the impact of GST on business. ju

Generally, there are 3 steps that a product takes to reach the final consumers. Ultimate burden of tax is to be born by the consumers - industrial or domestic.

Now the impact under simple Sales Tax Act and Goods and Services Tax:

A product is manufactured in a factory and its manufacturing cost is Rs. 100/- and profit added at every level is 10%

Note: This table and calculations may not mathematically correct. But the message is that under GST, the merchandise will be cheaper.

In earlier system, there was also input credit system but it was too cumbersome and tax evasion was enormous. But now, governance through degitalization will make the tax evasion very very difficult and punishable under law.

Conclusion: Clear your mental confusion. In earlier system, the product that had manufacturing cost of Rs. 100 with 15% sales tax rate reached with MRP of Rs. 316 with the end consumer. In the new GST regime, thought the rate is about doubled i.e. 28%   will cost the end consumer Rs. 250. So, why are the business associations protesting the GST regime is merely lack of proper knowledge.

Moreover, in this example, no excise duty, no custom duty, no service tax has been levied which are now completely merged into GST.

जी एस टी को लेकर बहुत भ्रांतियाँ , डर और शक हैं।  क्या होगा जी एस टी, कैसा होगा जी एस टी ? तो एक ही लाइन में समझ लें की   जी एस टी से आम आदमी का बहुत भला होने बाला है।  जो बस्तु पहले 15 % टैक्स लगकर फैक्ट्री से 100 रूपए में बनती थी बह आप के हाथ में 210 रूपए या इस से अधिक में आप के हाथ में पहुंचती थी।  यह मूल्य बिना सेंट्रल एक्साइज , बिना कस्टम ड्यूटी और कई टैक्स के है।

अब  जी एस टी लगने के बाद यही 100 रूपए की चीज़ 124 रूपए मेँ मिलेगी यानि लगभग 100 रूपए की खरीद पर 40 रूपए का लाभ पहले के मुकाबले।  इंस्पैक्टर राज़ ख़तम होगा।  पक्के धन की बढ़ोतरी होगी।  जिससे आम जनता अधिक टैक्स देगी।  अधिक टैक्स का मतलब अधिक देश और देश बासियों कि अधिक  प्रगति होगी।

A boy from a countryside i.e. village went to attend an interview in an MNC.

When he was attending the interview, the managing director of the company asked:

" Where do you see after 5 years?"

The young rustic boy replied quickly pointing towards the MD's chair:

"There sir."

How can we achieve what is dreamed?

In the sky, two sparrows - one small and one big - say young and elder ones were flying. They were enjoying the flight.  Right at that time, an airplane crossed them. The young one felt the fear and was surprised to see the airplane.

The young sparrow asked the elder wise one: What was this that crossed us? It looked like us. But its speed was enormous, may be 10 times faster than that of ours.

"Didn't you notice the smoke, the big sparrow was leaving behind?"

"Yes, that I did", said the young sparrow.

"It was ignition that propelled the big sparrow (airplane)", replied the elder sparrow.

"What is ignition?", asked the young little sparrow.

"Oh! you don't know ignition. It is the fire in the belly. No sparrow can gain speed without ignition."

So, dears, without passion i.e. fire in the belly, to achieve any dream in life is not possible. Dream is not what you dream while you sleep, but it is what you dream with open eyes and closed eyes 24 hours a day, 7 days a week till it becomes a reality. संसार बदलो 

1 . भावनाओं को बदला जा सकता है , कोशिश करने से।  जैसे हे आप अपनी भावनाएँ यानी feelings बदलेंगे बैसे ही आपके बिचार बदलने शुरू हो जायेंगे।  जैसे ही बिचार नकारत्मक बिचार सकारत्मक बिचारों में बदलने शुरू हुए आप की जिंदगी आप के सपनों की जिंदगी बननी शुरू हो जाएगी।  

2 इंसान को यदि एक कंप्यूटर समझ जाये तो दिमाग एक सॉफ्टवेर की तरह है।  सॉफ्ट बेयर को रिप्रोग्राम किया जा सकता है , शरीर इसी सॉफ्टवेर के जरिये चलता।  फर्क कंप्यूटर के सॉफ्टवेर और दिमाग का यह है कि कंप्यूटर के सॉफ्टवेर की सीमा होती है कंप्यूटर की सीमा होती है जैसे 400 GB आदि परंतु इंसानी दिमाग की कोई सीमा नहीं है।  इसकी कैपेसिटी का अंत नहीं है।  इसलिए यदि सुख चाहिए तो लिख कर देखिये कि मुझे चाहिए क्या फिर इस पर सोचते जाईये और लिखते जाईये।  अधिकतर बार ऐसा होता है कि हम अपनी सोचने की ऊर्जा ऐसे बिचारों पर लगाते हैँ जो हम असली जिंदगी में पसंद तक नहीं करते।

यह तो उसी तरह है जैसे एक कमरे में पूर्ण अँधेरा है और छोटा बच्चा उस कमरे ,में प्रवेश करने से घबरा रहा है परंतु उसके पिता या घर के किसी बड़े ने उसे एक छोटा सा दिया जलाकर कमरे में प्रवेश करने के लिए कहा।  बच्चा अब दिया लेकर कमरे में बेझिझक चला गया।  डर तो उसके मन में आया ही नहीं। 

4. इसी तरह से नकारत्मक बिचार इंसान को जीवन में आगे बढ़ने से रोकते है।  प्रगति में सबसे बड़ी रुकाबट हमारा बीते हुए भूत काल की यादें होती है।  क्या हम उन पर आज फोकस करें तो उनमे कोई बदलाब ला सकते हैं? नहीं कभी नहीं।  तो दिमागी ऊर्जा उन पर लगाने का क्या लाभ?

एक टीचर ने इसी तथ्य को बच्चों को समझाना चाहा।  उसने बच्चों को कहा कि अपने किताबों के थैले में एक दो आलू रख कर आना।  जब जहाँ यह आलू आपके ठेले में ही रहें।  बच्चे मान गए।  परंतु 5 -7 दिन के बाद आलुयों में से बदबू आने लगी।  दर के मारे बच्चे टीचर को बताते नहीं।  परंतु एक बच्चे ने हिम्मत की और बोला : मास्टरजी अब तो और सहन नहीं होता , आलुयों में से बहुत बदबू आ रही है। 

मास्टर मुस्कराया और बोला : आप आलुयों की बदबू 7 दिन बर्दाश्त नहीं कर पाए परंतु जो अपने भूतकाल में घाटी घटनायों की बदबू अपने मन में लिए हो और जो आपका आज और आने वाला कल बर्बाद कर रहा है उसके बारे में सोचा है क्या कभी।  आलू फ़ेंक डोज बदबू चले जाएगी परंतु भूतकाल की यादों से छुटकारा पाने पर भभिस्यए में सफलता की रफ़्तार तेज हो जाएगी। अपने दिमागी बस्ते को भूतकाल की बदबू से भी तो खली करो।  हाँ भूतकाल के महक को अपनी शक्ति बनाये रखो। 

5 . विचार शक्ति  : जिंदगी में योजनाबद्ध सोचना भी एक कला है। बहुत से लोग एक ही समय पर 

बहुत कुछ सोचते है और सभी पर सफलता पाना चाहते है जिसका अंत केवल तनाब यानि स्ट्रेस ही रह जाता है।  एक समय पर एक काम सोचने और करने के लिए फोकस करने से सफलता की रफ़्तार बढ़ जाती है।  कैसे :

एक बार एक गांव से एक लड़का शहर में इंटरव्यू के लिए आया. कंपनी केMD ने पूछा :

आप अपने आपको 5 साल के बाद कहाँ देखते हो मेरा अर्थ है कि 5 साल बाद आप अपने को कहाँ सोच कर बैठे हो। 

लड़का मुस्कराया और बोला : आपकी सीट पर 

MD ने ऐसे उत्तर की अपेक्षा नहीं की थी।  

बह झुळझुळ कर बोला : तो मैं कहाँ जायूँगा। 

लड़का बोला : सर आपने अपने लिए अगले 5 बर्ष के लिए प्लान ही नहीं किया ?

लड़का तो सलेक्ट हो गया।  यह है क्लैरिटी ऑफ़ थॉट।  कई लोग सारी सारी उम्र अपने बारे में नहीं जान पाते कि उन्हें पहुँचाना कहाँ है।  लिख कर , डेट डाल कर सोचिये।  यह आपका गोल बन जायेगा और आप इसे प्राप्त भी कर लेंगे। 

6 Fire in the belly : आसमान साफ़ था।  मौसम सुहाना था।  दो चिड़ियों ने उस आसमान में उड़ कर सुहाने मौसम का आनंद लेना चाहा।  दोनों ने आसमान में उड़ना शुरू किया।  जब बह दोनों उड़ रही थीं उसी समय उनके नजदीक से एक जहाज धुयाँ छोड़ता हुआ गुजर गया गया।  

छोटी चिड़िया ने बड़ी चिड़िया से पूछा : यह क्या था ? लगता तो हमारे जैसा था परंतु स्पीड में हमारे से कई गुना ज्यादा। मेरे ख्याल में ये एक बड़ी चिड़िया थी। 

बड़ी चिड़िया मुस्कराई और बोली : बुधु यह चिड़िया नहीं जहाज था।  

छोटी चिड़िया ने फिर हैरान से पूछा : परंतु ये हमारे से तेज कैसे उड़ रही थी ?

बड़ी चिड़िया ने उत्तर दिया : तूने उसके पीछे धुयाँ नहीं देखा।  इसे इग्निशन कहते है यानि अंदर पेट्रोल जल रहा है और उसका धुयाँ बाहर निकल रहा है यही इसे स्पीड देता है। 

छोटी चिड़िया जैसे सब  समझ गयी हो ने कहा : अच्छा ! ऐसा है?

इसी तरह से जिस इंसान के अंदर अपनी मंज़िल पाने के सपनों का इग्निशन होता है और अपने सपनो के लिए जी तोड़ म्हणत करता , बह कभी अपनी मंज़िल पाने में पीछे नहीं रहता।  अपने आप से प्यार, अपने पर भरोसा, सही दिशा में ईमानदारी से परिश्रम इंसान को उसकी मंज़िल पर पहुंचा ही देती है , कोई रोक नहीं सकता। 

असफलता जैसा कोई शब्द नहीं।  जब हम किसी काम में फेल होते है तो ज्ञान तो बटोर ही लेते हैं।
